If you’ve undergone breast cancer treatment, lymph node removal, or any type of lymphatic intervention, you know how life-altering the journey can be. What’s often less discussed is the long-term impact on your lymphatic system—and the resulting swelling, stiffness, or discomfort that can follow.
At PhysioActive, we specialize in recognizing the subtle signs of lymphatic disruption and providing comprehensive care that supports both your recovery and your quality of life. Whether you’re in post-surgical recovery, living with lymphedema, or noticing changes that haven’t yet been diagnosed, our integrated approach makes all the difference.
Lymphedema is swelling caused by a buildup of lymph fluid due to damage or removal of lymph nodes, commonly following breast cancer, pelvic surgery, or radiation therapy. It can develop in the arm, chest wall, breast, or torso, and early detection is key to preventing progression.
Here are some early or mild signs of lymphatic dysfunction to watch for:
These symptoms may not feel urgent, but they are your body’s way of saying that your lymphatic system needs support.
Lymphatic disruption isn’t limited to cancer survivors. You may also benefit from lymphatic therapy at PhysioActive if you have:
Even long-haul travel, extended sitting or standing, and stress can lead to impaired lymph flow.
What makes PhysioActive unique is our ability to identify early lymphatic dysfunction, even before swelling becomes visible. Our therapists are trained to detect subtle fluid changes and adjust your care accordingly—so you get help before things worsen.
We don’t just treat swelling—we optimize your body’s internal environment for healing, mobility, and comfort.
You won’t find cookie-cutter solutions at PhysioActive. No guesswork. No one-size-fits-all garments from the drugstore or Amazon.
We use custom-fitted, graduated compression tailored to your limb shape, swelling pattern, and skin sensitivity. Our team takes precise measurements and recommends the right length, compression class, and fabric—because what feels good matters as much as what works.
Many of our options are covered by extended health insurance, and we’ll help you understand what’s available to you—often 1–2 pairs per year.
If you’ve had breast cancer, lymph node removal, or experience any form of swelling, don’t wait for it to escalate. Early support for your lymphatic system can prevent chronic issues and drastically improve your comfort, confidence, and mobility.
Book your lymphatic evaluation at PhysioActive today. Let’s help you feel lighter, move easier, and heal with confidence—inside and out.
