Highly recommend PhysioActive. Winnie (physiotherapist) helped me a lot following my knee injury (injured ACL & MCL). She is very knowledgeable and one of the areas she specializes in is nerve work all over the body. Words can’t describe how amazing Winnie is at what she does. Originally she did ultrasound massage to reduce inflamation and swelling in my knee. Then she started doing some work with her hands. At the end of each appointment she would put my legs into a magnetic wheel that works at a cellular level and actually helped reduce pain. She also assigned exercises to do at home which helped too. Later I also started seeing Mina (osteopath), and he’s also very talented, knowledgeable and gentle. My foot, even though it wasn’t injured, was having trouble adjusting after many months of inactivity and was achy, so I ordered orthotics to put inside my shoes, which made a huge difference, and this was done through their chiropodist Vincent (the pair of orthotics he ordered for me is perfect). The front desk staff is great too, especially Negin and Armine. If you’re newly injured and lost, please hang in there as it will get better, and this is one great clinic that can help.Read Less

I chose this facility as I really liked that they open at 7 am and I could still make it to work on time. My physiotherapist was Sina, and he diagnosed me tennis elbow. He is very professional and caring, and took to the time to explain things during my weeks of physio. My recovery time was quite successful as generally recovery can take serval months. I started therapy mid October and by the first week of February I would say that my pain is 99% gone. I’m Mrs. Ofelia Galang and I’m very thankful that God lead me to Physio Active and met my physio therapist with a magic touch Sina Akbarzadeh he is an angel sent from above. I’ve been to 3 physio clinic in Wilson, Center Point and in Clark and Yonge but I didn’t experience this kind of treatment good thing I thought of google to find other physio clinic and finally I got one Physio Active. I’m suffering from too much pain in my back, shoulder and arm that caused me to filed my sick leave coz I can’t stand the pain. The first time I had the treatment I felt already the difference I felt relief coz Isna knew well his profession he knew where to massage, the root where the pain can be healed. Compare to other 3 other clinic I never experienced having this kind of massage it’s magic I should say I can almost fall asleep while giving me massage on my back neck. It’s his calling, God uses him to help and serve other people, Isna is an answered prayer I am back to work now after 4 or 5 times treatment. She works not only on my knee but on my whole body explaining how one part affects other parts . That makes perfect sense to me . I had an Xray of my knee taken which shows that I have mild osteoarthritis in the area where I get pain . I have a strong family history of both osteoarthritis & rheumatoid arthritis & hope to avoid getting it to the degree my parents & relatives have had it . Diet & exercise are so important & help when you need it . I am 75 years old now & want to keep as fit as I can & hopefully without pain ! Everyone is equally talented and specific in their protocol. I especially recommend Winnie for pediatric care, as she helped my children as well. I had a shoulder labrum surgery, once I got the green light from the surgeon to start physio, at the 4 wk mark, Nicholas got to work on my shoulder. Nicholas tailored my exercises to match the surgeon's prescription and the regular sessions enabled me to accelerate my recovery schedule, so much so the surgeon was more than happy with my progress at 12 week post-surgery and I didn't have to go back for any further check ups. In October Of 2021 I herniated the disc in my back. I was twisted, in a walker and could not stand straight. I worked with Nicholas and he literally worked miracles on my back. I thought I would have to have surgery and endured many nights of pain, not even able to lay down. With treatments such as laser, cupping and suction they got me mobile again where I could get on the table and have traction done. It is now May and I am back to work and my back is straighter then it has ever been in my life. It was through treatment from the Physio Active team that I was able to avoid surgery and get back to life. I worked mainly with Nicholas but also saw Kaitlyn, Sheetal and Samira all who gave me wonderful care. I highly recommend the clinic. They worked with me to create a plan to heal my back and get me mobile. I have nothing but gratitude for the team and what they have done for me. Thank you all 😊Read Less

I started my physiotherapy on March 15, 2022 and was diagnosed with PFPS on my right knee. The pain was unbearable at that time that I have to take days off at work. Thanks to Samira and the few visits I made to your clinic, it made my knee so much better now. Samira was wonderful, very caring and she will attend to you giving her best even extending your visit, if needed just so you will feel better after visits. The machines she used on me healed much of the inflammation and strain on my knee and she helped me a lot on my personalized exercises to help strengthen my knees on the days in between my visits. Thomas and the staff at Physioactive have been amazing! I brought my 6-month-old baby to see Thomas, because I've heard great things about him and his knowledge on how to treating infants and babies. My baby was only able to roll one direction only, and he seemed to be only able to apply his weight on one side more than the other. Our doctor says he's physically fine (which is good news), so I thought I'll bring my baby to see Thonas just to check to see if there are some details that can be worked on. Thomas was excellent with my baby, and they got along great. During the first session, he was also able to release some tightness in the body was impeding my baby. A few days afterwards, my baby started to have more success rolling in the other direction. By the second session a month later, my baby already had significant improvement, and was pulling himself up to stand. :)!! I also like how Thomas didn't try to drag out the sessions. In the second one, he evaluated and did some fine tuning, but he told me that everything is great with my baby and that we don't need further appointments! I appreciate the honesty (and the good news). If my child comes along with anymore bumps in his development, I'll definitely go see Thonas again. Thank you!!Read Less
