Craniovertebral Instability & Spondylolisthesis
This can occur in the upper and mid-cervical spine. Usually, trauma such as a car accident or a sports injury is needed to create instability. However, there are some disease states such as Rheumatoid Arthritis that can cause upper cervical spine instability or congenital diseases such as Ehlers Danlos or Arnold Chiari Syndrome that can present with cervical (neck) instability. If you suffer from symptoms in both legs and arms and get burning, pain or tingling, this could be coming from hypermobility or instabiliy.
Try tilting you head forward about 45 degrees and wait. If you start getting symptoms you should visit your doctor or physiotherapist immediately.
