Your PhysioActive team is happy to be able to offer virtual care. All our therapists are available to answer your questions and provide patients the care they need. Remember education and exercise (especially home programs) are the major cornerstones to effective care. You only typically see your therapist for a short time each week. Much of the benefits are the knowledge you get from your therapist and a specific home program to improve week to week. It is the confidence in your exercises you take away from your therapist that leads to long-term sustained recovery.

There are some differences between virtual care and in-person care. Our therapists will not be able to touch you physically. However, our highly trained Registered Physiotherapists at Physioactive only book 2 patients per hour and typically are with you as with an in-person visit. When do you need us? We are available all day. Early morning, evenings and weekend appointments are available.
What about Physioactive’s great reputation up to date technology and Modalities?
Yes, we still have all of these great healing technologies. These are beneficial for most healing especially for those that aren’t healing well on their own. Unfortunately, these are not available over virtual care, but the primary cornerstones of therapy are still available. You can still expect the PhysioActive 2-prong assessment and program of care. You will receive an accurate diagnosis, and more importantly, the contributing factors that are causing your pain. If you are not healing as you would expect through virtual care, our modalities such as BioFlex laser, Shockwave, Magnetic Biostimulation, and more are here for you when needed.
