To recovery
Welcoming all new patients

Our team of physiotherapists specialize in a range of complementary disciplines that help you reach your mobility goals. Whether you are recovering from an accident, experiencing chronic pain, wish to improve performance or continue to live an independent life, we can address the specific issues that keep you from reaching optimum mobility.
With years of experience and training, PhysioActive remains on the leading edge of medical technology, without forgetting the effectiveness of proven methods such as orthopedics, manipulative therapies, and acupuncture. We use hands-on therapy to improve the mobility of your joints, fascia, muscles, and nerves in hand with exercises to improve results. Each patient receives additional treatment recommendations such as magnetic biostimulation, laser, ultrasound, acupuncture, and IMS as required. Let us provide the most effective treatment to help get you moving today.
Our wide range of services are designed to help our patients see the best possible outcomes. We offer many treatments, including:
Our physiotherapists can assist with post-injury rehabilitation, post-surgical rehabilitation, reduction in pain, stiffness, weakness, numbness, tingling, concussions, sports performance, and more. We believe in looking at the factors contributing to your problem, prescribing the best possible treatment for long-term effects, and reducing the risk of repeat issues.
Our registered massage therapists enhance relaxation, provide pain relief, and assist in injury recovery. All treatment plans are customized to see the best possible outcomes. Massage provides improved circulation and gently mobilizes your body’s tissue to improve function and restore balance between movement of the soft tissues and the fluids in your body.
This holistic healing treatment uses a unique hands-on approach by removing “blocks” that keep your body from healing itself. As a result, symptoms are resolved to help you maintain your health, feel relief from pain, or experience symptomatic relief for your particular conditions.
Our therapists have worked with a variety of different patients including Olympic athletes and professional sports figures, to those recently suffering from concussions and strokes, to maximize performance, recover from injury, reduce the risk for injury, and improve movement efficiencies. Our goal is to improve flexibility and strength to return proper function based on your condition and/or injuries. A customized exercise program helps increase performance and accelerate results.
Used to treat pain and alleviate symptoms for many different conditions. We use the ‘neuroanatomical’ acupuncture approach to induce biochemical changes in the body based on our knowledge of anatomy and neurophysiology in relation to your condition. This allows us to choose the right points to resolve your issues and alleviate symptoms.
Our Registered Chiropodist works with you and your physiotherapist to assess your gait (how you walk) and determine if orthotics will help resolve issues such as heel pain, knee pain, and lower back pain. They will then prescribe a custom foot orthotic designed to restore proper foot function based on your specific needs.
The treatment uses a multi-disciplinary medical approach to assist patients suffering from acute or chronic post-concussion symptoms. This speeds up the concussion recovery process, and allows patients to return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.
This therapy uses specialized exercises to achieve gaze and gait stabilization to help patients retrain the vestibular system. It may help to reduce symptoms such as visual abnormalities, dizziness, memory problems, and concentration issues, among other symptoms.
We combine our hands-on treatments with the latest in leading-edge physio technology. This includes photo therapies using light to stimulate underlying tissue to encourage the body’s natural repair processes, Magnetic Bio Stimulation (MBS) and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapies stimulate circulation and increase oxygen partial pressure.
We recognize women's unique health needs at different stages of their life, from pre and post-natal care to the changes that occur due to ageing. Our therapies address a wide range of women’s health issues, providing you with effective solutions to improve your comfort and quality of life.
We offer specialized pilates and yoga programs designed to support your treatment plan. This helps promote health and well-being while also reducing the risk of injury. Yoga and Pilates movements are incorporated into our individualized exercise programs when we know they will improve outcomes.
Our goal is to maximize results so you can enjoy the best possible quality of life. Other services we might recommend include braces and supports, which can help many patients function more effectively, and ergonomics education and advice, to help avoid recurring issues following and during your treatment.
At PhysioActive we focus on your specific needs and goals. Our staff have advanced skills in assessment and treatment and will work with you one-on-one to improve your symptoms, speed up your recovery and build a base for a stronger, healthier and more mobile you.
At PhysioActive our goal is to optimize your movement, function and health. Our comprehensive approach that includes analysis and treatment of underlying issues will leave you feeling and moving better than even before your injury.
